photomonth photofair
10/10/2009

ON THE DAY

Shoot Experience took over 5 stalls at the fair, creating a hive of photographic fun and activity with a photo booth, a photography doctor for all those pressing camera related questions and special discounts on events and workshops.

Photo Booth
The photo booth was a huge success, hats, wigs, accessories and props transforming anyone who stepped inside and giving them a license to act silly and look fantastic doing it!

The fair itself attracted thousands of visitors, from photography enthusiasts looking for a special something to passers-by attracted by the products on offer.

AFTER THE DAY

PHOTOMONTH 09 - 01 Oct - 30 Nov

Our top 3 exhibition picks - not to be missed:

15 Oct - 04 Nov
YOUNG MASTERS @ Cynthia Corbett Gallery

Featuring the work of emerging and newly established artist whose work is inspired by Old Masters. Through mixed media, each artist references an element of the established art historical canon, whilst placing an undeniably contemporary spin on highly revered paintings.

05 Sep - 05 Jul
I AM HERE @ Haggerston & KIngsland Estate

"I Am Here" will be installed on the facade of the Haggerston Estate, facing the popular Regents Canal, in the highly desirable area in between Broadway Market and Kingsland Road. The block is part of a larger housing estate currently in the process of being regenerated. 67 large-scale portraits of residents living on the estate will be mounted to cover the windows of flats boarded up in the block as part of the regeneration process.

13 Nov - 02 Dec
KOSHER FACE @ theprintspace - Frederic Aranda

Kosher Face - Lubavitch Jews in the World, invites viewers to discover a unique vision of the Lubavitch Jews, interpreted in the contexts of portraiture, art and fashion. Lubavitcher rabbis are presented in public and personal spaces, dressed-up and dressed-down, coated in emulsion paint and laid bare. The result is an updated, thoroughly modern and colourful take on what is largely perceived as an outdated and closed world.
