Olympic Park Photocycle and Photography Workshop
HAVE YOU HEARD? The Olympics are coming to town. If you haven't been yet, the Olympic Park is starting to take real shape and is a must see for any self respecting Londoner or discerning visitor. Not only is the end point photographic gold but the journey there will be fun too!
Ed Robinson is a talented photographer, picture editor and founder of leading visual consultancy OneRedEye. Ed remains a visual and design consultant to the Financial Times, founder Academy member of the World Photography Awards and professional member of both the Association of Photographers and the UK Picture Editors Guild.
Join Ed (an avid cyclist) for a bicycling adventure ride along the canals and Greenway to the Olympic Park. You'll have opportunities to stop off along the way to take photos with the hands of an expert right beside who'll impart tips and tricks for improving your photography skills. You will have lunch (included) at the View Tube and sit in the education suite upstairs to discuss Ed's approach to photography as well as hear some mindboggling facts about 2012's Big Build.
The views of the construction site from the first floor of the View Tube are spectacular. There will be plenty of time to take photos at the site and along the way as well as pick Ed's brain about the ins and outs of the photography world. Ed will of course impart some tips and tricks for improving your photography skills too.

• Aimed at beginner to intermediate photographers
• You have an appreciation for photography and would like to spend half a day immersing yourself in it.

HOW IS THE DAY STRUCTURED?
The photocycle is for intimate groups of no more than 10 people. We start at Shoreditch and follow the canal through Haggerston, Broadway Market, Victoria Park, and onto the Greenway which runs through the Olympic Park. We visit the View Tube where we will have lunch and talk shop in private in the education suite. The View Tube is a very interesting place with cafe, gallery and viewing platform with scrumptious food!

Photocycle delegates qualify for a FREE place on a Shoot Experience public event, valued at between £7.50 and £15. (conditions apply, see shootexperience.com/events for details)
