BEFORE THE DAY

To our horror we woke up to the sound of rain! The weather forecast had said sunny and cloudy - had our carefully chosen theme of 'water' cleverly come back to haunt us?

Thankfully the down-pour had subsided by the time we started the day and the rain held off for the rest of the day.

Tate Liverpool is amazing. This smaller relative of the Tate family boasts incredible views of Albert Dock and the Mersey River from three sides. If you haven't been, GO NOW! All the staff were extremely helpful and we are grateful for being able to host Shoot Liverpool at Tate LIverpool and will certainly be repeating the event in 2008.

Shoot Liverpool was a sellout and contained a real mix of people of all ages. The clues were located in close proximity to Tate and our participants spent five hours staging scenes and taking daring pictures of local water-related answers.

The theme of WATER was explored in 2007 by participants in Toronto, London, Liverpool and Bath.

The exhibition in Liverpool included a selection of images from Shoot Liverpool, Shoot London and Shoot Toronto, producing an exciting body of work showing at once the multiplicity and commonality of the human race.

This was your chance to become an exhibited artist!
