WHAT MAKES A WINNING PHOTOGRAPH
Winning photos usually represent something unique, something that stands out over and above all other photos. The winners present a special and interesting idea, often original and generally positive.
You do NOT need to be a professional or experienced photographer to win. However, do pay attention to the basic things, like focus, light and composition and your photos will improve.
Take your time exploring the words and phrases given and use the area around you for inspiration. Remember you are part of a collaborative story-telling experience so be as creative as you can and the end result will be all the more rewarding!
The specific prize categories will be announced closer the event.
Good luck!
