TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL
  1. Your use of the site and participation in Shoot Experience events and competitions constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and our Policy on Privacy on behalf of you and your team mates.
  2. Although care is taken to check and test material at all stages of production, Shoot Experience cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material derived from this website.
  3. Shoot Experience can change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online under this section “Terms and Conditions”. Your continued use of this site after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
  4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
  5. Any communication or material (including without limitation any data, questions, comments and suggestions) that you transmit to, or post on any public area of this site (including without limitation chatrooms, forums, bulletin boards), will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary information unless otherwise stated by Shoot Experience. We reserve the right to remove without notice any material posted in any public area of the site.
  6. Shoot Experience takes no responsibility for the content of external Internet Sites linked to or cited on this site.
  7. Shoot Experience does not guarantee that the site’s facilities and functions will be free from error or uninterrupted, that the site or the server that makes it available to you are free of viruses or bugs, that defects will be corrected, or that the content on the site is accurate or complete.
  8. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions in full, you must stop using this site immediately. We reserve the right to prevent you accessing this site, without prejudice to any of our other rights, if we consider that you have contravened our Policy on Privacy and Use of Information or any of these Terms and Conditions.
  9. Except for death or personal injury arising through our negligence, Shoot Experience shall in no event be liable for any damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, whatsoever arising from or in connection with the use or loss of use of the site, or any content on the site.
  10. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree to be added to our mailing list, supported by Industry Mailout. We will use this to communicate to you about events and competitions and to send you our monthly newsletter.

EVENTS
  1. For events that involve venues selling alcohol each team member needs to be 18 years old or over.
  2. For events that involve a venue please print out a copy of your registration confirmation and bring it with you on the day.
  3. All correspondence between Shoot Experience Ltd and team members will be made through the email address provided at the time of ticket purchase.
  4. We will not be held responsible for damage/loss to your camera or memory cards during an entire event.
  5. For events - your camera needs to be compatible with our specifications. Set it up before the day! (Please see tech-specs for each event)
  6. Shoot Experience cannot guarantee that your camera will work with our equipment even if it fits our specification of camera parts or items. You can help by bringing your camera's USB cable.
  7. The aim of the game is to have fun. Whilst on the streets and in our venues, we reserve the right to eject you if you behave in a way we deem to be unacceptable.
  8. By signing up to the event, and submitting the form you indemnify us of any and all responsibility in respect to all damage and loss to your belongings and injury or death to you (and your team mates) during any part of a Shoot Experience.
  9. All payments are final and non-refundable.
  10. Shoot Experience reserves the right to cancel an event and/or exhibition. Every attempt will be made to communicate to those signed-up for an event in reasonable time via email and through the website. All purchased tickets for a cancelled event will be refunded in full through Paypal. Shoot Experience takes no other responsibility of costs incurred other than that of ticket sales.

COPYRIGHT
  1. The copyright of all contents on this website is owned by Shoot Experience Ltd, with the sole exception of participant photographs for which copyright remains that of the photographer. No reproduction or usage of photographs is permitted by anyone other than Shoot Experience and the photographer unless by written agreement.
  2. Participants accept that any image submitted as part of a Shoot Experience event or competition may be used by Shoot Experience and its partners for future publicity and not for profit purposes.
  3. When taking part in a team event you except that copyright for photos submitted as a team to this event is owned by all team mates.

SHOOT BANK
Shoot Bank is an on-line photo library currently in production. The library will be populated with photos from Shoot Experience events and competitions and will give participants a chance to generate revenue from their photos. We expect to launch Shoot Bank in April 2008.

  1. By submitting photos to a Shoot Experience event or competition you accept that your photos may be submitted to shootbank.co.uk and thus made available to the public to buy as Royalty Free photos.
  2. The copyright remains yours and we will split the profits with you 50/50.
  3. Payment will be made by cheque once your account reaches £50 and every £50 thereafter. For full details please email hello@shootbank.co.uk.

EVENTS AND COMPETITIONS
  1. Our events are fun, engaging and interactive. This means you can get up to all kinds of weird and wonderful mischief during a Shoot Experience event. By entering one of our events you indemnify us of any responsibility should you, your team mates or your belongings come to any harm or death.
  2. Due to the youthful nature of some of our projects unfortunately we cannot accept any photographs containing nudity - no matter how tasteful. Skin is cool - nipples, willies etc are not...

EVENT DATES AND VENUES
Event dates and venues are subject to change. We will do everything possible to alert you of any changes via the email address provided at registration.

PRIZES
  1. Prizes are subject to change without notice.
    We cannot guarantee that the prizes advertised will be the prizes received. We will do everything in our power to ensure as little variation as possible.
    Please check the website for updates.
  2. Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your prize to you Shoot Experience will not be held responsible in the event of a prize becoming lost in the post. If a prize does get lost in transit we regretfully do not have the resources to issue another one. You are able to collect your prize from our studio in Shoreditch - address details to be found on the CONTACT page. If you agree to picking up your prize and have not picked it up within 6 months we reserve the right to revoke the prize.

DATA PROTECTION
We make every attempt possible to safeguard your details given to us via our website and will not make it available to anyone without your consent. By providing your personal data to us you are consenting to its use in accordance with our privacy policy.
