HIDDEN GARDENS OF THE CITY
Summer in the city always seems far too short, so why not make more of it this year with a tour round London's hidden gardens. Including the oldest City park, a rooftop garden, secret courtyards and fountains, you can uncover little gems of London you never knew existed. This breath of fresh air is running until the end of July, so next time there's a sunny day, we know exactly where we'll be basking!

AUDREY AND MARILYN
Until 5th July 2009
Anyone with a love for the classic screen goddess should make their way to Proud Central this month for a glimpse of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe at their best. Tying in with Audrey Hepburn’s 80th birthday, this stunning collection of the late Sam Shaw’s work combines the most iconic photographs (yes, including that image of Marilyn’s dress flying up over the Subway grate) with never before seen shots of both leading ladies. The exhibition has been specially put together for Proud Galleries, so this is your only opportunity to see it.

A TRACE OF MY EXISTENCE
30th April – 5th July 2009
A Trace of My Existence provides a very unusual show, as all of the images were taken by children and young people who live in the poorest areas of Colombia’s second largest city, Medellin. This is the first European exhibition by Colombian photography collective Click por los Barrios (Click for the Neighbourhoods), an organisation set up by professional photographers to provide photographic training in the most deprived areas of the city. The background of the project combined with the arresting images on show gives a very poignant feel to the exhibition.
